Ingredients
  

Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • 1 tsp salt

Hot Honey Glaze

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Preparation

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt. Let them rest while preparing the glaze.
  • Combine honey, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and apple cider vinegar in a small saucepan. Heat gently until well combined. Allow to cool slightly.

Smoking

  • Preheat your smoker to 225°F. Place the salmon fillets on the smoker rack, skin-side down.
  • Smoke the salmon for about 50 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. Brush additional glaze during the last 10 minutes of cooking.

Serving
