Ingredients
  

Salmon

  • 2 lbs salmon fillet skin-on

Glaze

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Optional

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Fresh dill for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Rinse the salmon fillet and pat dry with paper towels. Place it on a baking sheet.
  • Combine brown sugar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Coat the salmon with the mixture and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Set your smoker to 225°F and let it preheat.
  • Place the salmon skin-side down in the smoker. Smoke for about 50 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

Serving

  • Let the salmon rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve with fresh dill if desired.

  • Wrap any leftovers in plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
