  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Lemon Caper Sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp capers drained
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon, skin-side up, for 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add chicken broth and lemon juice, bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in capers and butter; allow to thicken slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Return salmon to skillet, spoon sauce over fillets. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices. Serve immediately.
