  • 1 shallow bowl
  • 1 measuring cups

Ingredients

For the Parmesan Crust

  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

For the Tilapia

  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Rinse the tilapia fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season each fillet with salt and pepper on both sides.

Making the Parmesan Crust

  • In a shallow bowl, combine the grated parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
  • Brush each fillet lightly with olive oil. Dip each fillet into the parmesan mixture, pressing gently to ensure an even coat on both sides.

Baking

  • Place the coated fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is flaky and the crust is golden brown.

Serving

  • Remove the tilapia from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite side dishes.

Storage

  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a preheated oven to restore crispiness.
