Equipment

  • 1 grill preheated to medium-high
  • 1 mixing bowl for marinade
  • 1 spatula for flipping

Ingredients

Marinade

  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Preparation

  • Combine lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let the salmon marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat to prepare for cooking the salmon.
  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes per side, until the flesh is just opaque.
  • Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.

Serving

  • Garnish the salmon with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges for added flavor.

Storage

  • Refrigerate any leftover salmon in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
