  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley, then remove from heat.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes. Flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes or until cooked through.
  • Remove salmon from heat and drizzle the prepared garlic butter sauce over the top before serving.

Serving

  • Plate the salmon and serve immediately with your choice of side dishes.

  • Place any leftover salmon in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, place salmon on a baking sheet and warm in a 300°F oven for about 10 minutes.
