Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 3 shallow bowls for breading station
  • 1 tongs

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 haddock fillets about 6 oz each
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten

Seasonings

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

Preparation

  • Rinse and pat dry the haddock fillets. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs in separate bowls.
  • Dredge each fillet in flour, dip in eggs, and then coat well with breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs onto the fillets to ensure they stick.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for about 3 minutes.
  • Place the fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with olive oil. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Serving

  • Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes. Serve with lemon wedges and your choice of dipping sauces.

Storage

  • Store any leftover fillets in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
